lj just got boring. will be shifting here. for awhile.

it is rainingggg and there's no one to go shopping with!! parents have ditched me for their friends, sister (finally) decided to be charitable and is doing cip somewhere. harrumph. didn't take no pictures this week, been too lazy/too busy to charge camera. endless number of meetings, calls, emails, relays this week... so many ad hocs, so little time! this week was fun though, i've really missed laughing with/at gill! :) lots to do for coursework, have to quit procrastinating. the cab uncle was so hilarious!!

aunty mandy bought plain white flats for me to paint! quite exciting i like :) though gill, cherly and i never actually got down to painting our (fake) VANS from last june. haha, got back all uh, seven papers today. FAINTED!!! mi was especially disasterous, followed by geog. CHINESE was an awesome surprise. i am THE CheenaQueenzxzz2007!

proper lessons begin TOMORROW. this is depressing!! today we met up with the mother's friends at suntec guild house. jonathan and jacob were forced to put on funny hawaiian shirts- apparently round-collared shirts are forbidden. (according to the dress code.) hmm. after lunch, i attended new creation church for the first time! it was... different. i like the pastor's puns. 
i talked to gong gong for awhile today, while watching him cut fruits. a 70-something year old man recounting some (fond) experiences of the past, like how he used to sell kweh near clarke quay. for fifty cents... thing is, i really couldn't relate! but as he spoke, he grinned. and it felt good just being there, listening, nodding. haha it really wasn't much and soon he went back to skinning his apples. i did realize something, though. times like these... must treasure :)

back from banner painting with painted toenails, painted arms and a painted phone!! painting is tiring. though sewing trumps it all, i think. spent a good part of the morning sewing the banner together. i can't sew to save my life! had to keep consulting suyi cos i everything kept knotting up, haha. i am grumpy because The Lips refuse to Heal. :(
